Off-Grid Living or the Autonomous Building...a building that relies on no public utilities to deal with producing power, getting water, and handling waste.

This one is kind of crappy, but you know, after you photoshop it and then take a look at it and decide..."Hmmm, I should have done that differently", you've already wasted your alloted amount of wastable time for the day.

apparently the idea has been around since the 30s...but this kind was first produced in the 90s.

Ben Moses died last week. Here's the obituary.... and, since I hadn't seen him in at least five years, I decided to see if I could find him on myspace...and I did : http://www.myspace.com/soontobechef
I also found a picture album of him on one of his friend's pages...don't know if this link will work or not: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=75853367&albumId=1092937

I'm moving...Wednesday, August 1st, but as of now, have no clue how that is going to be accomplished. (That's the last day of my current lease/first day of my new lease, so I have to move that day).

I need to find a truck or van, and to find someone (or two people) with muscles to help me move a couple of semi-heavy things. I've got a futon which comes apart and is light enough that myself and one other person have moved it before. And I have a glass kitchen table which comes apart into three flat, but fairly heavy pieces...probably enough for two strong people to carry.

Anyway, if you or someone you know has a truck they'd be willing to lend out for the day of Wednesday, August 1st (or part of the day), if they would like to help, or if you know anyone who has functioning arms and could help lift either of the above objects...send them my way!

I will pay you or feed you or both!!!... I think the rest of my belongings I could move completely on my own if needed, just a couple of bigger things I need help with.

let me know if you'd like to help! I'm just moving from the lafayette side over to the west lafayette side.

I got a 'sunturn' on my way to work, during lunch, and home from work.
That's a combo tan and burn.
I made it to work in 50 minutes, and home in exactly one hour. Not too bad.
