good talk

Today was a good day. I just felt so relaxed all day.

Here are some things that are pros:

The weather was pleasant -- I relaxed a bit last night and enjoyed that -- my cast aluminum foam mock-ups just started coming along nicely (which is good, because sometimes the shop makes me nervous, especially since I haven't used a lot of the tools in a long time but I did just fine in there today) -- I found out that one of the patents is on something I'm excited about instead of just some little tiny part of a handle or something -- I slept until 10:15 this morning -- my History of Design class is fantastic...I really like professor E. Mennon/Mix (if you're ever bored at 3:00 on Tues or Thurs you should come with me)..just know it's a power hour -- I went to see an artist talk about his work in the gallery at the Union, but did not stay for the snacks -- the harder part of my week is done -- I discovered a pretty good and cheap meal in the Union that I'll probably eat a lot now.

Any chance that good/cheap meal is the noodle-bowl at the sushi stand? If not, you should give it a try.

In other food news, we're having a pot-luck style bring-in lunch at work tomorrow, and my dish? Horseradish mashed potatoes...mmm...

actually the good cheap meal is from the "carvery"? thing I think....it's just three side items and a dinner roll, and it's only about $2.70

way cheaper than the noodle bowl, because I've looked at that and thought about how too expensive it was.

hey, I think I saw Boy-Jessie today at Taco Bell, however I didn't realize it was him until I had left... so he probably thinks I'm crazy, because I looked right at him, making eye contact and everything.

you busy this weekend?

whew, I left you that reply right after I got home from the Cactus last night (I think, although if you look at the time on there it says 8:19 am and I am fairly sure that isn't right).

Anyway, I failed to mention that jesse boy was sitting right next to me when I typed that, hence the direct reference to the hair confusion.

as for this weekend, my only plans so far are to 1) do my homework up good 2) secure a job and 3) not be drunk all weekend. I think I may meet up with the weiner crew at some point tonight...but other than that, ya know, I got nothin'.

talk to you later?

she said that the journals are not mandatory. the deal is that you can do the journals (which she would post something about on the site, detailing what different styles of journal you can do) and so if you do the journals you only have to take like half of the finals exam.

if you choose not to do that journals, that's fine, but you have to take the entire final exam.

she seemed to hint that the journals are the way to go because it takes some of the pressure off, and there isn't any guess work involved...just you writing a journal and you get the points. boom.

Smith hall is right next to Lily. I looked it up about 2 seconds before class on the internet campus map thing so taht I could find it.

see you later!

cool-cool
that's the same deal as in her other classes then...
with her take-home tests it is VITAL to do the journals
I guess I'll have to wait and see what her other tests are like

thanks for the help amiga :D
